Laser Therapy

Therapy lasers have been scientifically proven and successful in treating most post-surgical pain and many acute and chronic conditions. Laser treatment is used to reduce pain and discomfort, speed healing time, increase mobility and reduce swelling.

It is safe, noninvasive and pain free. It is a drug free treatment alternative that is less stressful and often soothing for pets. Laser therapy can be used in conjunction with other treatment programs to enhance results and reduce your pet’s discomfort.

Who can benefit from laser therapy? If you pet is in pain, has inflammation or has a wound, laser therapy can be beneficial. Ear infections, arthritis, skin conditions and sprains and strains can also be treated. Laser therapy is also used after surgeries including spays, neuters and dental procedures.

How does it work? The laser light penetrates deep into the tissues and is absorbed into its cells causing photo-chemical response. This response accelerates tissue repair, increases circulation and reduces swelling and inflammation.

The laser treatment program is unique to each pet. The number of treatments and frequency will be determined by your veterinarian based on your pet’s needs. Many pet insurance companies reimburse you for laser therapy. Ask us about laser!
