Bryanne is originally from Nakina, a small town in Northwestern Ontario, where she grew up helping her family run their fly-fishing business before leaving home to attend the University of Western Ontario in London, where she achieved her Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. Bryanne then attended the Ontario Veterinary College and graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Following graduation, she lived in Australia and worked as an associate in a small animal practice for one year prior to returning to Ontario to work as a locum veterinarian. She then decided to leave the winters of Ontario behind and made the move west to Victoria.
